Pessoa Pony

The Pessoa Pony or Pessoa Junior as it is also called, is part of the SE collection. This saddle is designed specifically for young riders and was personally crafted by Nelson Pessoa for his son Rodrigo many years ago! It is our entry level [pony saddle and features adjustable Velcro on both the knee rolls and thigh blocks, it ensures the junior rider maintains a correct and comfortable leg position. The flat shaped, semi deep seat, enhances a balanced riding position and it allows the freedom and agility needed for effortless gliding over the jumps.

It comes with a regular flap and in seat sizes from 14”,  15” and 15 3/4”.  It is built on a carbon fibre tree and uses the X-Change Series 2 gullet system offering width increments from 20 to 27cm (N-XXXW). It comes fitted with a Medium gullet plate. Further gullet plates can be purchased separately. 

It features the Bayflex panel which is a type of memory flex polyurethane. It’s an extremely versatile material that can adjust itself to different pressures and maintain its protection without losing shape. The panels are created in a 3D injection mould so they are precisely the same every time, ensuring evenness and a comfortable contact for the pony.
